Ignitor Leadership Infusion

Fifteen years ago, I was on the executive team of a very successful high-tech electronics manufacturing organization. Our success can be attributed to many things, but it all started with our belief that as individuals, we are not set up to be all things to all people.

I have applied that belief to many areas of my profession, including the coaching work we do at Ignitor Leadership Development. We strongly believe in finding the right fit–when you work with our executive coaches, we never force relationships or try a one-size-fits-all solution. Instead, we find someone perfectly suited to you and cater our approach to your goals.

When selecting someone for executive coaching, it is crucial to find someone who is right for you. Here are a few things for you to consider when making your decision:

  • Do they have the leadership knowledge you need to achieve your goals?

  • Do they have the technical knowledge you need (such as legal, finance, HR, etc.)?

  • Who do you need as your coach, someone to be a sounding board or someone to lead you through a difficult chapter in your life?

  • How important is an ideator to you?

  • How much direction or support are you looking for

  • Where is the coach located (are they close by)?

  • Are they in your industry, outside, or does it not matter for your goals?

  • What is the value, cost, and ROI you are looking for out of your executive coaching?

  • Confidentiality and trust–how do you feel after your initial discovery chat?

  • What is their level of experience or background?

As individuals, we are not all things to all people–with executive coaching, it is no different. If you are looking for an executive coach, we would be happy to arrange a discovery chat to see if we are the right fit for you.
